This post is also available in: Nepali

I would like to express my heartiest gratitude to our members for their continued support and patronage. We have been complying with the management philosophy of helping the underprivileged and are more committed than before to deliver effective professional services to individual members through our network.

This year, we are redirecting towards a new strategic planning for three years (2017-2019), this plan will be our road map which will certainly help strengthening credit union movement in Nepal. MIS software is to compile database of our credit union network which will make our endeavor more effective in monitoring services and provide technical support to our members. Reflections of ACCU Forum provided us with an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences with international community embarked in this sector. It also had contributed to explore partnership with international renowned organizations such as ACCU, WOCCU, DID Canada, Australian Mutual Foundation and many more. Our efforts through the strategic direction : Promotion, Development, Professionalization, Quality Assurance and Network management will continue for quality improvement services offered by our members. Information technology has been fast growing and we are determined to incorporate IT in our operations. Common logo, common slogan and common system are some of the things which could contribute immensely. This is the best time to initiate activities to convert ourselves from existing loose atomized model to credit union net work federated model. Through this network, we are working on providing operational, financial and technological services to them for imparting quality services in a sustainable way. And we would like to request technical and financial support from national and international community.

We have been receiving eloquent technical and financial support from ACCU, CCA, Agriterra, European Commission, UK-Aid, MercyCrops, CICTAB, Helvetas Nepal, Government of Nepal and Bi-lateral and Multi-lateral agencies for the growth and development of credit unions movement in Nepal. We anticipate their continuous support and partnership in the coming days.

As a newly-elected chairperson of NEFSCUN; I admire responsibility assigned to me and my team; I hope with the support of the net-work, we can address challenges for the improvement of lives of the each and every individual involving credit unions.
